Everyone always looks to the past for legends and myths, but some are right in front of our eyes, unseen. These myths and legends were always seen as a human creation to explain the unknown. There were a select few people aware that the myths and legends were real. Some worked to keep them a secret, while others had more nefarious motives. Eventually, hybrids came into existence. They looked mostly human but would have certain non-human traits. This made it difficult to keep them a secret and protect them in the past.
As time went on, hybrids became more prevalent in society. People learned of their existence, studied them, and most accepted them. Others rejected them, hunted them, and prosecuted them. This led to changes throughout the human population: agencies were created to protect the hybrids, and underground organizations formed to fight them. This has been further complicated by an increase in hybrid populations. Some humans single out the hybrids and gang up on them on the street, most just stand on the sidelines and watch. Unfortunately, there are only a handful that fight to protect the hybrids, though most of the protection is done through diplomacy and laws.
The creation of a special task force became necessary in order to better protect hybrids. The task force was also used to bring in ones that have become deviant. However, a majority of the task force’s job was to break up drunken arguments or street fights—though there have been a handful of run-ins between the task force and various underground organizations involving hybrids. Those enlisted in the task force were given a non-lethal response to handle all matters involving hybrids; though, in rare cases, the use of live ammo was permitted. This was controversial, even though live ammo did not affect hybrids all that much, as long as their vital organs were not injured. This is due to the hybrid’s regenerative capabilities
Now, why have I told you all of this? Well, that would be because I am one of these hybrids. Let me introduce myself. My name is Sebastian Lykos, but most just call me Bastian. I have a small amount of wolf blood that courses through my veins. This enhanced all five of my senses, I have a well-developed sixth sense for danger, perfect night vision, and I am capable of extreme regeneration. Additionally, my strength and speed are at superhuman levels. My only physical traits are my yellow eyes and fangs. This allows me to remain under the radar as a normal human. In the past, people have guessed that I am a hybrid and have tried to provoke me, but I ignore them and walk away. They aren’t worth my time.
Now, while I have some wolf genes, I do not transform like a werewolf. Instead, there is something akin to a wolf-spirit that lives inside me. He changes my personality to be more aggressive and dominant, which has caused problems in the past; but, I have since learned to control him. Now, he only comes out when I am protecting someone or during sex. Both of those situations lead to him taking full control until he is satisfied or unconscious.
Every day is rather similar for me. I keep to myself and stay out of the bad areas of the city. Every now and again, I go to the bar, but I never meet anyone who can handle him. So, I turn them down. This way they don’t get hurt or scared. Unfortunately, this means I have a nonexistent sex life. Well, that was until a recent encounter I had at a local bar.
One Friday night, the bar was getting ready for last call. I had spent the night people watching and was about to get up, but then this beautiful woman sat a few seats away from me. She was wearing a sexy clubbing dress that showed off her amazing assets. What really shocked me though was her vibe. It was different compared to most other girls, and instead of the usual skinny build, she had curves in all the right places. She looked rather annoyed at something, but that didn’t stop my inner wolf from getting stirred up.
I looked over at her and flashed her a friendly smile. “Well, aren’t you beautiful. Can I buy you a drink?” I asked as I signaled the bartender.
She looked at me cautiously and said, “I don’t drink, I am here to meet guys. Though most are assholes looking for one-night stands.”
“Well, I’ve talked with some of the girls who frequent here. They weren’t all that interesting either. They seemed like they were looking for the one-night stand thing too, but with the wrong guys.” I let out a chuckle as I ordered another drink. “I’m Bastian,” I added.
She cracked a small smile and said, “You know what, as long as you’re buying, one drink won’t hurt.” She paused and made her way to a seat next to me. “I’ll have whatever you’re having. By the way, I’m Corinna, but most just call me Cora.”
We Escort bayan spent some time talking and laughing, watching the sea of people in and out of the bar. We guessed who was going to be leaving with who. Time flew by and it was approaching closing time. The crowd became rowdier and there were some deviants showing themselves. There were a couple other hybrids left in the bar, and some drunk idiots started to pick on them. I kept my eyes and ears alert for any danger. This caused me to look distracted because I had tuned out of our conversation.
Cora waved her hand in front of my face. “You paying attention, Bastian? You spaced out for a little bit,” she said a bit irritated but looked curious about something.
I smiled and laughed it off. “Sorry, sorry. Sometimes I space out.” I glanced over at the deviants. “They always annoy me with their stupidity.” I didn’t notice at the time, but my eyes were glowing yellow like a wolf’s.
Cora tensed and glanced over at the rowdy groups. “They are annoying, and usually end up being violent,” she said and looked back at me. She held back a gasp. “Back to what I was saying…” She took a sip of her drink. “What made you say something to me tonight? I know I wasn’t the…most approachable.”
This caught me off guard and caused me to think for a second. In that moment of hesitation, something in the room felt off. The wolf came out and took full control. My eyes flickered, turning brighter, and my fangs became more prominent. I smirked at her and took another sip of my drink.
Cora looked me right in the eyes. “Well? You got an answer or you -” she started to say until I cut her off.
I leaned in and kissed her. “Shhh. No more words. I want you, Cora. Why don’t you come with me to my apartment? It’s close by. Nod your head yes or no,” I said as my voice got deeper.
Cora’s eyes went wide with surprise, and she looked like she was about to slap me. Then, something clicked within her. She took note of my changed eyes and my deeper voice. She relaxed and let it happen, remaining silent and nodding her head yes in response.
I leaned in and whispered, “Good girl,” as I kissed her again and stood up. Right when I extended my hand to her, the sound of glass breaking filled the bar. There was a lot of yelling and people were staggering out of the bar. A few guys were picking on a kitsune hybrid. The kitsune was standing between the guys and what looked like a female cat hybrid.
Cora blushed and shifted slightly in her seat. She kissed me back softly and whispered, “Mmm, I can’t wait to find out what you have -” she started saying, then the commotion interrupted her.
My head snapped towards the fight. I quickly paid both of our tabs, leaned in closer to the bartender, and said, “Call the local task force. They are going to be needed for this one.” I paused as the fighting ensued. I turned back to Cora and said, “Stay here. I will protect you if things get outta hand.” I smiled at her as I moved between the fight and her.
She watched the fight, shocked. She looked at me and nodded her head. “Bastian, be careful…” she said.
The hybrid defended itself from the guys, wrecking the bar in the process, and bystanders were getting injured by the flying glass and wooden splinters. A few pieces came towards us and I shielded Cora. The wolf blood flared and I picked her up, speeding her to a safe area within the bar. I smiled at her and said, “Wait here, the authorities will be here soon.”
She gasped and looked at me wide-eyed. “Bastian…How did you…What are -” she started to ask.
I interrupted her with another kiss. “I will answer all your questions once this situation is cleaned up,” I said. Then, I heard a yelp and turned back towards the fight.
One of the guys pulled out a knife and cut part of the kitsune’s ear. Another was moving in to stab the kitsune. The kitsune held the cat close and using his body to protect her. I noticed something off about this since hybrids usually overpower humans without an issue. Additionally, the kitsune looked weakened. I looked at the third guy and saw that he was holding a dart gun. They must’ve drugged the kitsune. That drug is only approved for law enforcement use. I snapped out of my thoughts and moved between the kitsune and the guys in a flash.
I pushed the hybrid pair back with one hand and grabbed the guy’s wrist with the other. I threw him back against his buddy with the dart gun, knocking them both against the window. The window broke, and they flew onto the sidewalk. I looked back at the kitsune who was now collapsed on the floor, barely moving. The cat had a look of fear in her eyes as tears streamed down her face. I bared my fangs and growled at the last guy, “I will give you one chance to drop the knife and get on your knees. Otherwise, I’ll have you over there with your two buddies.”
The guy looked at his friends, back at me, back at his friends. Both of them were knocked out cold. He took a few steps back still brandishing Bayan escort his knife. Sirens were approaching quickly. This caused him to lunge at me, sloppily thrusting forward with his knife. I sighed to myself and turned my body to dodge, grabbing his wrist and snapping it. He dropped the knife and winced in pain. I followed up with a heavy step and kneed him in the gut. The step cracked the floor, and the guy collapsed into a puddle. His hands clenched his gut as he coughed and gasped to catch his breath.
I shook my head turning back to the kitsune and the cat. The kitsune started coming to. His ear was bleeding, but he looked unharmed otherwise. The cat was unharmed but was shaking and crying. I helped them both up into a couple of chairs and had them settled. I sped back to Cora to make sure she was okay. As I did this, the authorities pulled up to the bar and blocked off the area. A special agent approached with a few SWAT officers that were carrying both lethal and non-lethal weapons. There were also medics and ambulances on standby.
After the outside of the building was cleared, a couple officers and medics approached the two guys on the sidewalk. They checked for a pulse and got them on stretchers, loading them up in police-escorted ambulances. Then, SWAT and the agent entered the bar. I remained silent and calm, making sure Cora was behind me. They radioed for another team of officers and medics to come in to take care of the third guy and the kitsune. The third guy was taken away on a stretcher and loaded up like his buddies were. The kitsune was patched up and was given the stimulant to counteract the tranquilizer dart.
All three guys were unconscious and unable to give their statements. The officers took a statement from the hybrid pair and a couple of witnesses that got stuck in the bar. They went over and spoke to the bartender and some people outside the bar during the fight. I overheard a radio request for the security footage from the bar and the street cameras. Eventually, one of the officers came up to us. He asked to speak with Cora for a statement. She agreed and followed him over to the bar. I overheard her full name. Corinna Kalos, I felt like I knew that name, but couldn’t put my finger on it. The special agent in charge approached me, which caused me to snap out of my own thoughts.
He stood an arm’s length away from me and began to speak. “Hello sir, my name is Agent Miller. I would like to ask you some questions,” he pulled out his notepad, prepared to take my statement.
I watched him cautiously, keeping the rest of my senses alert to my surroundings. “Of course, Agent Miller. Ask away,” I said politely.
He went through the standard questions. Name, address, contact info, what happened, etc etc etc… I answered everything clearly and concisely. He asked me to wait a moment as he got, what seemed to be, an urgent phone call. After a few moments, he made his way back over to me. Looks like he found out who I am. I thought to myself. He apologized for taking up my time, telling me he did not realize who I was. I told him not to worry about it, he was only doing his job. We shook hands and he excused himself, telling me that he would be in contact if he needed anything else. He radioed for all of his officers to pack up and prepare to leave.
Once they were gone, I smiled and sighed to myself. I looked around and was surprised to see that Cora was still here, sitting at a table near the door while talking on the phone. She glanced up and saw I was done with the officer, smiled, and looked like she made an excuse to hang up the phone. I walked over and sat across from her. After what just happened, the wolf blood within me was ready and rearing to go.
“I’m sorry, my friends knew I was here tonight. They saw the news and started calling and texting me to make sure I was okay. I told them it was just a bar fight, and I was fine,” she said with a nervous smile.
I smiled back at her and relaxed as the rest of the police left the scene. “Don’t apologize, I am glad that you’re alright,” I said and gave her a quick once over, checking for any scratches or bruises. My eyes lingered around her cleavage before I looked back into her eyes. “Looks like you don’t have any scratches either.”
Cora smirked at me and asked, “Oh really? Was that just an excuse to check me out again Bastian?” She leaned in, emphasizing her cleavage.
My eyes flickered again. “Maybe it was,” I said with a smirk, leaning in close to her face.
She saw my eyes flicker and sat back. “Well, we were just about to get outta here. However, I think you were going to give me some answers,” she said matter-of-factly.
I smiled and stood up, holding out my hand for her. “Of course, let me walk you home. I will answer your questions as we walk,” I said.
Cora put her hand on her chin and made a thinking face. She began, “Weeellllll if you insist, but I would rather go back to your place.” She paused and smirked. “In case I have more questions for you.” Escort she winked and grabbed my hand.
We walked out of the bar and headed down the street, towards my apartment and she asked me about what happened. I explained what I was and that I try not to fight, but when I see another in need, I can’t ignore it. She asked about my background and wanted to know what it felt like. I told her the basics of my genetics and how it feels when the wolf takes over. I explained that it’s no different from a fight or flight response, mine is just multiplied tenfold and leans toward fighting. She held onto my arm, listening to me intently.
“So, how much further is your apartment?” Cora asked and smiled anxiously, blushing a little.
“We are actually coming up on it now. It is a few buildings away,” I said and smiled, looking at her.
She paused for a moment and looked around. She realized that it was her apartment building too. “This is so weird; it looks like we live in the same apartment building. What a coincidence,” she said.
I said, “That’s a good thing. You can stop by your apartment if you want.”
She shook her head and said, “I don’t need to. I would much rather get to your apartment.”
“Okay, if you say so,” I said and lead her up the steps. I held the door open and followed her into the building.
We used the stairs instead of the elevator. This gave us more time to talk before getting to my place, plus we both preferred the stairs anyway. I found out that she lived on the second floor, and I was on the fifth floor. I confirmed with her to make sure she did not want to stop at her apartment. She assured me she was okay, and that she just wanted to get to mine. We continued up the stairs and got to my floor, walking right to my door. I opened the door and let her in first. I stepped in behind her, closing and locking the door behind me.
“Here we are. What do you think?” I asked, leaning back against the door.
Cora looked around a little and set her stuff down on a barstool. “Well, it certainly is bigger than mine. It’s nicer too.” She looked around, admiring the posters and artwork I had on the walls. Then, something seemed to catch her attention. She got up and walked towards my bookshelf. “Bastian, what are these?” She asked looking at a variety of awards and certificates.
I smiled and said, “Yeah, I wanted a nicer one. I have some extra things, that I needed the space for, in my guest room.” I walked over behind her, placing my hands on her hips. I kissed her neck softly before stepping back from her. “I have received a…few…awards and have held various titles,” I paused and took a seat on my couch. “Without going too much into detail, I have been recognized as a leader in hybrid relations. I have worked closely with intelligence agencies, the task force, and the council. This led to me being awarded a council seat, to which I declined for personal reasons. Despite this, I still hold a lot of power and influence with government and law enforcement officials.”
She leaned back into me and tilted her head, whimpering softly. She let out a sigh when I stepped away from her and turned to face me. Her eyes went wide as she processed what I told her. She looked quite shocked but maintained her composure. “I would have never guessed. You seem like you’d keep to yourself.” She paused for a moment, walking over to the couch and sitting next to me. She glanced back at the bookshelf and continued “Obviously, that is incorrect as those all suggest. So, who exactly is Bastian?” she questioned, and shifted herself closer to me.
I placed my arm around her, turning my head to look into her eyes. I said, “I am an advisor to key people and organizations. My official title is Director of Hybrid Relations. I work as the head of a conglomerate of government agencies and charitable organizations.” The wolf blood continually increased in power and my eyes started glowing more.
She laid her head on my shoulder and started running her fingers up and down the tops of my thighs. “That’s veeerrrrrry impressive,” she said. She brought her fingers closer to my growing bulge with each pass.
Her teasing was having a pleasant effect on me. It fueled the wolf blood more, causing my eyes to glow brighter. “I have been told, though I prefer to keep it hidden,” I said and used my free hand to tilt her head up towards mine. I kissed her softly and passionately, running the fingers of my other hand through her hair.
Cora smiled and kept teasing me. She started to say “Mmmm, what else are -” then she got interrupted by my kiss. I felt her smile as she kissed me back. She placed both of her hands on my face and started to make out with me. She moved to straddle me without breaking the kiss.
We got lost in the kiss. She wrapped both of her arms around my neck. I placed both of my hands on her hips. My bulge grew more and started pressing against her. She must’ve felt this and started to grind herself against me. I grunted softly into our kiss, my hands gripping her hips tighter. She broke the kiss and moaned softly, her face and neck flushed, giving me a lust-filled, sultry look. Using her hands, she took mine off of her. She smirked and made a show of getting off of me, walking back to the bar.
